Session 06 - Krazadur's Hideaway

The party runs away from the stitch that they went through to escape The Endless Wilds. After losing their tail, they discover [[Krazadur's Hideaway]] en route to Lephtie, and the treasure's within.

Summary

As we head through the portal, we receive the boon of Kalva Kuras, the title of Monster Bane. But, we see Tar collapse to the ground, a poisoned dart emerging from her back. We remove the needle, but her breathing seems belaboured and she is completely unconscious.

As we leave the stitch, it goes into emergency lockdown mode. Escort vehicles loop around and prepare to board the main vessel. We commandeer the vehicle, taking out the myrmidon drone piloting it, and throwing their soon-to-be-exploding body at the crew that come to investigate the disturbance. We go into a montage.

Zed leaps to intercept one of the chasing vehicles, and stabs through the windshield. Kay attempts to stall the other by throwing the ships cargo back, while Celyne maneuvers the vehicle to a more advantageous position. Combat breaks out as Zed is firmly attached to the escort vehicle chasing them. We deal with all of the closest enemies, and commandeer the faster escort vehicle. Zed manages to not crash an escort ship as everyone else hops aboard, and we make our escape.

We take stock of our surroundings. It's a mostly locked down stitch, making it a bit surprising Starweave Enterprise is operating out of here. They most be taking care to be covert. Our closest settlement we reckon is Cito Six, but we are also relatively close by to Lephtie.

We manage to make it to a belt of exposed rock in the astral sea in 2 days. We stumble upon what must have been a hideout of another Dragon Knight of Searing Truth. [[Krazadur]] had left behind an empty notebook, a makeshift forge containing a broken Blade of Quintessence, materials needed for a Terrifying enchantment, and a completely decked out fire dwarf vessel.

It is designed for a crew of four, a large main gun that emerges from the cargo hold, a phlogistonic regulator to traverse the Plane of Fire, and old falsified trade alliance documents.

We take a respite, and reach level 2! Overnight we are attacked by a Lightbearer, but manage to defeat it and steal its hide.
